
India-based Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Construction’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured several orders in the domestic and international markets. Â
The contracts are valued between Rs25bn ($299.83m) and Rs50bn.
In Oman, the country’s Ministry of Health has awarded a contract to construct the Al Namaa General Hospital. Â
The project encompasses a 165-bed hospital building with four floors above ground and a basement, as well as additional buildings such as substations and sewage treatment plants.
The scope of work includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services, as well as external development such as landscaping. Â
The project is scheduled for completion within 30 months.

This project includes the development of a multiutility building, alongside Pilgrim Management Block, Chinnamasta Block, Siddheshwar Block, and an access corridor for the temple. Â
The contract also covers finishes, allied MEP services, and external development within the temple premises.
With a budget of Rs4.98bn, the initiative is sanctioned under the Development Initiative for North-Eastern Region scheme.Â
It is aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and amenities for pilgrims at the site.
The vertical has also received an order from a subsidiary of a paint manufacturing company to construct a polymer manufacturing plant in the Indian state of Gujarat. Â
The contract includes civil, structural, and architectural works, as well as external development works.
In addition, the company secured an order for a solar glass manufacturing plant, which is also located in Gujarat. This project’s scope covers civil, structural, and architectural works.Â
